Mostly Mellow is an atmospheric beverage studio based in New York City.
We design experiences through the ritual of matcha, specialty espresso, thoughtful alternatives, and soundscapes. Our mission is to create living sanctuaries that ground you in the present moment.
Built on eight years in specialty coffee, tea houses, and high-end hospitality, the studio embodies our values: sovereignty, a rebellious pause, grace, and intimacy.
This philosophy is guided by my lineage tracing back to Korea’s Princess Pyeonggang, inspired by the very hospitality I grew up with in my Mother's home.
Mellow describes the mood, taste profiles, and soundscapes. The hero color, mauve, is French for the mallow flower, which resiliently yielded medicine and food through rough terrain. Mauve was also the world's first synthetic dye, making a color once reserved for royals accessible to all.
